Our Services
Emergency Shelter
The Center provides free, safe, confidential shelter for anyone who is at imminent risk of physical harm from intimate partner violence or sexual assault. Learn more about our emergency shelter here.
Legal Advocacy & Emergency Protective Orders
An advocate from The Center can support survivors as they navigate the criminal justice system and be present for legal proceedings when requested. Advocates also provide assistance with obtaining orders of protection from sexual assault or abuse by an intimate partner.
Groups & Therapy
Through counseling, therapy, support and psycho-educational groups, The Center works with survivors to address immediate and long-term emotional, physical, and mental effects of the abuse they have experienced.
Children
If you need to seek shelter at The Center, children can join you. Please visit this page to learn how to keep children safe and the supportive services The Center provides to children who accompany you to our emergency shelter.
Pets
Thanks to our partnership with the Kentucky Humane Society, we offer safe foster homes for pets of survivors who reside in our emergency shelter.
Domestic Violence Services
