Student Board
Our Mission
Unite youths across Louisville to aid victims of domestic violence and promote awareness
What Does Student Board Do?
High schoolers across Louisville come together to help our Center for Women and Families fight for a better world. Student board members volunteer, fundraise, and advocate. They learn leadership and collaboration skills as they coordinate and communicate service events, volunteer, and gather funds from the community around them.

3-4 Zoom Meetings (per Semester)
100 Dollars Raised (per Semester)
A Note from Sofia & Violet
“We have been working with The Center for Women and Families since seventh grade and we are eager to lead youths across Louisville in helping a cause which we are extremely passionate about. We first got involved through a service project where we created paintings expressing the adversities of domestic violence, we then used the paintings to inform people of the issue, and ended up raising around one thousand dollars for the Center for Women and Families. As we have continued working with the Center, we have grown even more passionate and we know that the collaborations of all youths across Louisville will make a difference.”
