Training and Education Opportunities
The Center offers training opportunities to professionals, schools, service providers, places of worship, and other community spaces to teach everyone how to be an #EverydayAdvocate. #EverydayAdvocates are people just like you whose small actions have the potential to change culture. They listen and connect with survivors. They speak out when they see something wrong, and they take action to help support survivors and educate themselves and others.
Staff members facilitate conversations on intimate partner and sexual violence, healthy relationships, bystander intervention, supporting survivors, and The Center’s services. Training sessions and conversations can be modified to meet your desired learning objectives and can be held at The Center, your work site, or at another preferred location at a time and day convenient for you.
The Center can also attend a resource fair or other event in which you believe community members, clients, or patients would benefit from learning about the services The Center provides. We will set up a table with our informational brochures and other branded items and share how we support survivors with attendees who visit the table.
If you would like to request a speaker for an event, class, training, or meeting, or you would like us to attend an event to pass out brochures and other information about our services, please complete this form Community Partnership Questionnaire or email us at training@cwfempower.org.
If you or someone you know is in need of support, we're here for you. Connect with our advocates 24/7 for confidential help and resources.
