The Center for Women and Families offers a variety of services to survivors of sexual assault. Our hospital advocates are on call 24 hours a day to meet with survivors at regional hospitals or when survivors seek services at the Louisville SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) Clinic at The Center’s Joan E. Thomas, M.D. Campus. Our counselors, therapists and advocates are available to meet with survivors of sexual assault days, months or even years after the abuse. Our clients include men and gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people in addition to women and dependent children.
The Center for Women and Families imposes no income eligibility standards on individuals receiving assistance, and eligible participants receive services free of charge.
