Community Education & Professional Training

The Center is happy to speak to your school, civic or professional group. We offer educational seminars that address issues that are relevant to specific audiences such as community groups, schools, churches, etc. Topics can include an overview of our services, dating violence, safety and awareness of sexual assault, the dynamics of domestic violence, bullying and more. These awareness building presentations are offered free of charge with a requested honorarium.

The Center also offers innovative and customized professional training on issues of domestic violence and sexual assault for groups such as lawyers, doctors, corporations and businesses.

The Center provides many educational programs designed to build community-wide understanding of domestic violence. Domestic Violence in the Workplace training and consultation helps employers implement policies to ensure workplace safety and take appropriate action when violence erupts.
